I had to see my ex to resolve something before I move across country. We were together almost 5 years, and I broke things off a year ago... Anyways here is what happened when I saw him:

- He paid $200 to help me with my car (volunteered , no mention of reimbursement)
- Gave me a really long clingy hug and said "I've missed you." and "you smell good"
- Made dinner for us and said "the old Justin would have prepared dinner hours later" That was a complaint of mine.
- Said his goal for 2016 was to get healthy, and mentioned how a few times.
- We started drinking a bit and he started getting frisky but no hook-up
- Stayed on his couch and watched TV together... he said one of the shows reminded him of me because I was the first one he watched it with.
- Walked me to my car, hugged and said "I'm sure we'll see eachother again." We have no mutual friends or any other way of accidentally running into each other.

What do you think he true feelings are for me... and please explain why as I am more confused then ever trying to figure it all out. Thank U!

My ex and I broke up because he cheated on me. we started hanging out again in November. we were just hooking up. we hooked up 6 times, twice of which I went to see him at his school four hours away. the last time he told me that he had a thing with another girl and that he had been cheating on her with me the whole time.

yesterday, I asked someone if they still had a thing because I felt guilty for having hooked up with him while he was with someone else, although I did not know they had a thing. that person texted the girl and told her I had asked. my ex texted me saying "get out of my life. I love her and not you. get over me. im blocking you".

I have no idea what he meant by this, considering I am not a part of his life physically, emotionally, over text, in person, or over social media. I texted the girl he had a thing with telling her we had hooked up all those times and that that was why I had asked her friend. was it wrong of me to do that? or does she have a right to know?

Description of my ex while we were dating: loved hanging out with me, told me I was the love of his life and he would never find anyone like me, said we would get married, always texted me, put me first, invited me to family events/holidays, decorated gingerbread houses with me, took me ice skating, carved pumpkins with me, cooked/baked with me, went shoppping with me, took me to dinner and the movies, stayed home to cuddle and watch my favorite shows with me, gave me presents, wrote me letters, bought me flowers, etc.

Description of my ex after we broke up: more interested in other girls, parties all the time, drinks beer and hard alcohol every night, smokes weed, joined a frat, doesn't text me, always wants to hang out with friends, etc.

the reason we broke up was because he cheated on me and kept it a secret for a month. he dumped me. then hooked up with someone else a week after. right after the break up he said he was always going to love me and that we were still going to end up together. we broke up nine months ago but stayed in touch until recently, when he said he no longer had feelings and things were done for good.

I know the reason this happened was because he is not ready to settle down and wants to experience other things.

He is now talking to a sorority girl who parties and drinks and talks to various boys at once. He said things with her would not be how they were with me and that he can't see himself ending up with her.

My question is, is this just a phase he is going through? Once he leaves his party days behind, will he go back to being the sweet person he once was and want to be with me again?
