I want him to know i like him, but i dont want to call it a date bc that makles it stressful for me. and we already hang out so how will he know i 'like' him just by hanging out? i definitely want to hang out alone without kissing or hugging or out of place flirting, bc that will be very awkward bc i dont do those things, so i can't replace calling it a date with touching him. rather call it a date. any other suggestions?

I've never dated,. never been interestyed. im becoming inrterested, his resoonbse mtters to me, bc it will tell me if there's a chance. i dont want to linger. if he's not interested ill be open to seeing other people. but i dont want to make a big deal ot of it. I don't know how to avoid one without harming the other. either its a 'date and i understand his answer bc I've been clear but now things are awkward. or im nuanced but i won't be sure what he thinks he's responding to and i won't know to move on or not.

please no lectures abnort how women are not direct. im very direct and have no oproblem with rejection, i just am concerned in tihs case bc we are friends, of conmpriomising that friendship. if he were a strtanger itd be easier. but then i probably wouldn't be interested.

plus if i say date i will gave no way of knowing if were referring to the same thing.

to me date is going out alone to get to know someone you're attracted to insude anmd out., to him it might mean sex at the end of the night. not bc i think 'he' thinks that way. it just might be what he thinks people mean by date.. i see it often enough. esp with women asking men out. guys assume its 'sex'. I don't know why.

no 'flirt and wait until he asks you out. 'im over 20 and never dated. and im an adult. im not wasting time when i already know i like him. id be insulting myself.

I have family freind and we have been freinds for over 14 years now. we had lost contact for over 3 years because I moved overseas. Anyways, I got in touch with him again and our old freidship returned. With that I told him about some of the things that had happened to me in the past years. And i started to grow feelings for him. I told him about how I felt but he decided to use my against me as a reason of rejection. So, i decided to start maintaining my distance but about a month later he apoligised. And now he wants to be in a relatioship with me. What should i do? Should I give him a chance? or not?
