Let me start by saying that I have no friends. Since I’ve left HS, it’s been difficult to keep in touch with people and people I’ve met throughout my life were not worth keeping. I have had acquaintances for the past few years and it’s been hard to build on these relationships.

I feel like something is terrible about me because a) I have no friends b) was bulled in the past and c) have never been in a relationship. Everyone I know, regardless of looks or status, has dated someone.

I don’t think I’m ugly and people compliment here and there. I use dating apps to keep my options open but I’ve had no luck. Is my reliance on dating apps versus meeting people in person contributing to my loneliness?

I always wondered if being lonely was just a phrase in life or if it just a forever period in your life. For example... I have two jobs, clean credit and people always tell me I'm pretty. From an outsiders point of view people don't know why I have no friends and I always wondered why I don't have any friends. I talk to people everyday, message them, I try so hard to keep in contact with people but they always push me away or stop messaging me after a week. I remember I went six months without a job and n money. It was a terrible time in my life, but while I was unemployed with no money I learned a lot about how to get a job, how to act at a interview, ways to invest, different ways to make money, how to start a business... since I am a very talkative person I just don't understand why I'm always the person who's alone and friendless. My whole family has friends and people who love them but me and my dad. My dad chooses to be alone though. I don't understand why I have to be forced into loneliness while everyone else gets to have all these friends and supporters... I have nothing. I thought that if I had a job and was a nice person I'd have some sort of social life but apparently I can't I can't find friends. Since I have money now I feel okay with being alone but i get so sad thinking of how lonely and loveless my life is. I only have myself in this world... I am truly alone.

Even my house guest says I'm disgusting and avoids me all the time. He also tattles on me. I feel so alone and I just wish that people could just experience my life for once.
