I got set up with a girl I knew from highschool. Although she lived a few hours away. We talked for about 2 months, as our schedules never lined up because of school for her to let me come up to see her given the time it took to get there.
Over the holidays, she had a month long break, and asked since we liked each other and we wanted a relationship if she could stay the month with me since she didn't want to be at home with family. I said sure.

I went and picked her up and she was oddly quiet. She later said she just had a migraine, and it wasn't anything I was doing. Later we went and took a nap. She woke me up cause she felt worse and asked to go home.

On the ride home she said that although she had a migraine, she also wasn't fully over her ex, and thought she was ready for a relationship with me and it changed when she met me. She realized she wasn't ready.

I dropped her off, and I was pretty disappointed. I tried to sympathize with her, and I checked in on her after a week.

She made plans to come spend time with me, but would then cancel them last minute. At which point I asked her why she's doing that, and she said she didn't have anything to say to me. So I stopped reaching out and I blocked her on social.

A few months later I felt bad for how I handled it. I tried to reach out on social media, but she denied my request. So when I could I just reblocked her.

Should I try again to reach out to her or leave that shit behind?

Recently my ex and I got into contact. At first she was pretty flirty and was really happy we reconnected.

I took it as a sign she still had feelings, so I asked her if we could try to rebuild our relationship and she said no because of some things I said during our breakup. She said later she lost interest in me. I told her that I didn't want to be friends and it'd be too difficult. She said she understood.

I sent her a message explaining why I said what I did during the breakup, and asked for her to reconsider and she could reach me if she changed her mind.

She '❤️' the message. But said nothing. It's been a week. My friends say she's been giving off mixed signals and she probably doesn't know what she wants and is scared. But she also never took ownership of what she did in our relationship either.

She had started following my social media accounts when we got back together, and she is still following them. Liking posts, and watching my stories.

My friends say that's a good sign, and she may just need time to process what I said and sort out what she wants.

A few years ago I had a coworker in another department ask me out on a date. Thought I hadn't dated in a while, might as well. She changed the plans from getting drinks to hanging out at her place. She gave hints she totally wanted to have sex, but also wouldn't shut up about her ex. I hadn't dated in a few years, so I was disappointed this was my first experience. Plus she still lived at home with a large family that wasn't mentioned.
I left the date and didn't sleep with her, and struggled to schedule another. I gave up. Then she got back with her ex.

For the better part of a year she kept sending mixed signals and would make sure I knew when they weren't together. Continued on and off BS.

We got to a point where we talked and texted again, she gave more hints about wanting sex, even getting all touchy while at work. But she was with the boyfriend still.

After more of the on and off and the conversation always being about the boyfriend, I just don't bother talking to her anymore.

But she's started trying to find any excuse to talk to me and gets very jealous when I talk to any of the attractive female coworkers. She'll even come interrupt just to stop it or try to talk to me.

My friends say two things. She's upset I didn't act on her advances or she's still super into me and wants what she can't have but won't leave the boyfriend due to comfort.
