Search Results: signs a guy likes you laugh

There's this guy in my school choir that I like, and I was wondering if these were signs of interest or I'm just going crazy 😂:
-Plays romantic song on the piano, stares at me when playing (think he's done it once before but didn't like him then)
-After that I like tripped and fell trying too hard to act casual, then I noticed him smiling at me later like 😄 but then when I noticed he looked away fast
-Everytime I laugh at one of his jokes he starts walking near me or talking louder
-Tries joining my conversations/ starting one
-His friend staring at me smiling a lot this one time (?)
-Started saying something Spanish (I dont think he knew I understood what he was saying, or maybe he thought I would pick up its something romantic)
-Hangs around me a lot

We're both in the Drama department at our school, so if you're like "?" to the piano playing and all that stuff, well... that's your answer 😂.

And before you say oh he's a player, he is so not a player or anything, he's kind of dorky lol.

I was asked out by a guy that I wasn't entirely interested in and I waited a while to make plans. He'd text, and text a lot. I'd reply sometimes days later. We eventually made plans and he disappeared. The texts stopped, he didn't really contact me anymore. So, the day of our "date," I made alternate plans. He texted me that day as he was getting off of work and asked if I was still up for going to dinner. I told him since I hadn't heard from him, no. We rescheduled and he texted me daily up til that date. We went to dinner, had a great time, kept telling me he was nervous and was very sweet, complimentative and funny. We ended up at his place talking for hours about anything and everything, just talked (4 hours to be exact) and he said he wanted to teach me to line dance and fish. It was really late, so I left (he requested I stay longer,) walked me to my car and kissed me goodnight. I really enjoyed it. I felt a serious connection that night. He texted me the next day saying he had a great time and he wanted to get together again. I told him I felt the same way. Due to Thanksgiving and schedules, we arranged our next date for 2 weeks out. The thing is... I never hear from him again. I'm kinda really liking him, but he never initiates texts. He texted me on Thanksgiving and another time saying he was thinking about me, but that's it... No, how was your day or weekend like before our 1st date. He replies to any and every text I send, and he will joke and laugh. I make sure to end the conversations and not keep texting because I don't want to become annoying. We have a date in a few days. He specifically said he felt like he won a championship game after our first date because it went so well, asked what made me say yes to him, told me I was beautiful, and wants to see me more to see where it goes. All good signs, just don't understand the in between after a date is scheduled... Why go quiet? Wouldn't you be afraid I'd lose interest?

So my guy friend and I are pretty close. Recently I've been feeling like he's been showing signs of things more than friends. I just want to see what other people think:
- hugs me
- always messages me first
- smiles at me often
- always asks how I am
- teases me
- today when I said my cousin was muscular he said "not as big as me" and laughed

BUT he likes another girl, and she likes him back but he's too scared to ask her out.

I'm just curious to know if he does or doesn't like me.

I like a sophomore named Sam. Sam is often a goofball. We sit next to each other in band and talk casually every day. They are assigned seats, so it's not like we choose to sit with each other. When he sees me in the hall during a certain part of the day, sometimes he makes eye contact with me and makes this weird, silly noise and I usually just smile and say Hey. But lately, every time he goes to his locker which is a little ways down from mine, I glance up and he's looking at me. I was behind him yesterday and saw him looking at my locker, as if anticipating my arrival. I had some awful cramps the other day and let out an involuntary moan at one point and he looked at me and said "Do you feel okay? Are you sick?" and I was like "I'm not sick, just bad cramps." and he said "Why do you have cramps? You do look more pale today." I thought his concern was a good sign. I also asked him what he thought of this girl that is mean to me and told him some of the mean names she's called me and he was like "Do you want me to go say something to her?" and I said "no, it's okay" but he got up and approached her for a second and then told me "I just called her a f*ggot." So I really loved that he did that. Also, yesterday when the school band was playing a song, I sat there with my arms crossed snapping my fingers and after a few seconds, he copied me exactly. He also borrows my phone as a calculator a lot. I think he knows I used to like this other guy named Thomas and today he said to me "You should say hi to Thomas, he's right behind you" and I said "I don't want to" and he asked why and I said "because he doesn't like me, he always ignores me" and I laughed and he just said "he likes you" and turned away. I was just kind of upset that he seems to think I still like Thomas, and wouldn't he want to veer me away from other guys? I also told him subtly that I'm single today. I can't tell if he likes me, I think he does but I need help. Does any of this mean Sam might like me?
