There is a coworker that I think is cute. I never really noticed him until recently.
First time I met him was in a meeting. It was three of us and he was intensley staring at me.
Seemed like a death stare to me - so I'm just like alright. I avoided him from that point and on.

We see eachother since we are in the same department - he always stares when I walk by or from a distance. I turn away though - but I see him in the corner of my eye. He's always looking.
However, he never takes the initiative to say hi or how's it going. I don't do it because of the death stare incident.

Recently, I walked past him and he smiled at me. I smiled slightly back but avoided his gaze.
Out the corner of my eye- he's staring.

So I decided to just talk to him because it's just awkward passing by and the staring.
He doesn't really talk to me. We were all by his desk and I asked his age and what not. He responds slightly but not really- in a shy manner I guess. I'm opening myself up and being talkative and he's quiet. However, with other people he talks to perfectly fine. He speaks more than a few words - smiles- etc. He even got close to this other girl and is always smiling to her. I guess he finds her attracitve. Sits close to her. I think him and his friend are trying to get with her - I'm not sure.

When he's with his friends he's super loud and talkative. Then when his friend ( who is trying to get my attention but i'm not paying attention to him) says i'm distracting the guy because he was on the computer. I asked him if I'm distracting him. He says yeah- just a little bit. So now I'm like what the hell? Does he hate me? I'm just trying to be nice. Then when they both left- I said bye to him and his friend but he ignores and couldn't look me in the eye. But says bye to other people and gives them high fives. I'm just like okay here I am opening myself up and he's rude.
I don't know does he hate me? I don't even care if he likes me - but I'm trying to be friendly as a coworker and he does that. I'm a little mad but confused. Any thoughts?

i like this boy and things went a bit awkward and weird between us and he stopped speaking to me cause my friends teased me all the time and yelled things out at him (like i like/love him and just yelling his name out) and it eventually annoyed him so now we barely talk (but we stopped talking last term) and one of his friends (a girl... but they're JUST friends) told us to stop being weird around him like that and he's ignored me a couple of times, asked me why i'm messaging him and told me not to message him. now whenever i go up to him, his mates would speak to me normally but he would just go quiet and if i'm not hanging out with him but i was somewhere he could see me, he'd stare at me a lot. his really good friend tried turning him around to look at me but he got kinda mad and then that same friend said hi to me again when he was with him cause i walked past with my friends. do you think he likes me but is trying to hide it or could he be shy? by the way, he's in year 10 and im younger than him so that might be why he's hiding it. he sometimes even stares at me a lot one day and then barely stares the next day? his friends also asked me for lollies and he didn't ask or say anything to me but he kinda just stood a few metres away and was looking at us talking and laughing. he was also looking at me at the shops cause i was across from him. him and his friend were walking past and i think he walked kinda close to me but i didn't realise and i nearly touched him and his friend yelled "WOAH!" really loud in my ear and i think it was cause my crush and i were so close to each other and that same friend says hi to me more often now. it also seemed like he was looking at me but when i looked back, he looked away but I don't know. he knows i like him and i'm in year 8 :) thanks!
