This girl who goes on my bus, started talking to me a few months ago for about a week or two she would say hi and sometimes make small talk, she'd look to her friends and say that I'm mike and tell them that I'm good at drawing (She's seen my drawings)

She told me she liked my costume the day after Halloween despite my costume not being too obvious. Then we kind of stopped talking and she didn't take the bus AS much because she plays on the girl's basketball team so I didn't get very week as many chances to talk to her.

I had tried on Fridays every week for about a month to ask her to the movies but I never really got a good chance.

Today I finally asked her if she was free this weekend to which she said "No, I have things to do, sorry" I said "It's okay" And we walked together for a bit with my attempting to make small talk.

Normally she turns the other way but she took the long way when walking with me today.

What I said was okay in a sense but I don't feel like this was resolved as there were things that I intended to say but I didn't.

I wanted to tell her that I thought she was cute and interesting and that I wanted to apologize for hardly talking to her as I'm shy and I get nervous. I'm not exactly convinced this was a full on rejection, I acknowledge the possibility. However, I'm not sure if I should ask again next week or tell her the words that I've left unsaid.
