Search Results: meet other local people interested

I was on vacation abroad for a few weeks, during that time I spent a lot of time with this local guy who I really liked and who it seamed liked me a lot too. We met through mutual friends. We hung out most every day, we flirted a lot, cuddled during movies, he was just so easy to talk to and he seamed very impressed by me.

He had to suddenly leave the area before I left due to a family emergency so nothing actually happened between us and we never got a real goodbye, but we kept in contact through texting. During my trip I was trying to set up plans to move to this city, he was excited by the idea and helped me. We kept in touch while I was gone... I called him when I got back, he sounded excited to hear from we, we chatted a few times planning when to meet and then suddenly, nothing!

no response to texts or calls, and the same for all of our mutual friends, nothing! no one will talk to me anymore. (I know some of our mutual friends were trying to get involved in whatever was happening bewtween us...I think they freaked him out maybe? I didn't want them to say anything!) I even ran into him the other day, he just said "hi" and then disapeared, but to be fair, I was nervous and acted very shy and awkward when I saw him.

I feel like some misunderstanding took place, and I want to give it some time and then try to approach him again and see if we can talk. Do you think this is a good idea? I would like to at least be friends, I am new here, don't know many people. I still have his book and he still has mine. I know the coffee shop he often hangouts out at... I like to hang out there too... so chances are we will both be there at the same time soon. Should I try aproaching him again?

I can't stop thinking about him and I really like him, we have so much in common.
