Okay, I want to ask out this guy in my class at University.

We spend time together, when we have classes, sometimes afterward. I'm not much of a talker but he always seems happy to carry the conversation.

I don't know if there are any obvious signs he likes me. He doesn't seem to mind spending time with me. I feel really comfortable around him, normally I'm paranoid I'm annoying people by hanging around them but he really seems to be happy with my company.

He and I are very different people though. I am the kind of person who prefers staying in and watching a DVD, I have a few close friends and I don't party much. From what I know he has lots of friends and likes to go out.

I am very shy, I've never been asked out and my last crush made me really nervous and nothing ever happened. I'm tired of feeling like a failure and want to gather the courage to ask him out.

Some people say I should just ask him to hang out in a group, which I would have to invent a group outing to invite him to as I don't go to many.

Some say coffee, or a movie, or just hang out.

Then there's the direct, "would you like to go out with me?"

Or should I not ask him out at all?

What's people's opinions?

There's this boy in my class (yes I know; how original?!)

and I've had a crush on him for a while now, and within the last few months we've been talking more in lessons than we used to.

My friends say they think he likes me because of the things he does around me, plus I'm one of the only girls he ever talks to.

I'll tell you somethings which he does just so you know.

He draws all up my arms, writing his name on me

looks at me all the time, he even told my friend to look at me too because he knew it got me paranoid, and kept laughing at me freaking out on the other end of the table

He always tries to sit by me, and I've heard his mates go to him 'oh were sitting up here then, wonder why?' and its kinda made me think they mean me (could just be my big head tho)

he smiles at me whenever I look at him

He even accepted a place on the same course as me as college because I told him I wanted him there

he tries to make me laugh all the time, and it works :)

I get the feeling he does like me, but because he's really shy when it comes to girls (I think cos he don't know that many) he doesn't say anything.

I think he's really amazing to be honest, but I don't know whether to say something to hm about it, because my friends talk about me fancying him in front of him and I know he's heard about it, and he still hasn't done anything.

However one of his friends told me a few weeks back that he likes me, (the boy I'm crushing on that is) and I just thought it was a joke.

Does it sound like he likes me?

i know I should know by now but I really can't get my head around why he would like me especially when there are lots of pretty girls in our classes.
