Long story short, my friends with benefits for years has finally confessed that he has had this huge crush on me all these years and in all honesty, I feel the same way. Only a few days ago, I decided that I'm ready for a real relationship, whether it be with him or someone else. I was tired of not being official with someone and acting like it (FWB). Since we both had feelings for each other, we discussed dating. He started telling me that I was his babygirl and that he loved me. (I've always loved our extremely close friendship and the trust we have in each other and it finally felt like we would be exclusive). Well as we started acting more like boyfriend and girlfriend, he never made it official, and like I said before, I was tired of friends with benefits and wanted real commitment. The truth came out and I told him yes I would consider dating him but I wanted to keep my options open. After I said that, he became pretty distant and when I took to Instagram, I saw a recent post stating "When someone treats you like an option, do them a favor and remove yourself from the equation". I know he's been having some friendship issues with other friends but I really feel like that post was about me. I just don't get it. He hasn't made us official and then gets all upset when I think about dating other guys. I have tried to question him about it and everything but I hardly get an answer. I know something is wrong but he just won't tell me. I'm tired of the games he's always playing and I wish he would grow up, stop the friends with benefits with me, and let us be official or let me date someone else.
