I got an extended spat with someone about politics a few days ago (very common on GAG). The guy (in his late 40s) just doubled down with every possible rage filled rant, slur, label and hateful comment he could possibly think of. I didn’t fight fire with fire but I also stood my ground.

Truth is I just felt sorry for him. All his hate is coming from a place of hurt that’s most likely not even related to the subject. It’s just psychological displacement. He’s so zealous about what he believes in because if gave him a sense of validation which he likely doesn’t have in his life otherwise.

I say this because if takes one to know one. I’ve have in the past gone in hateful rants about groups/ideologies I don’t like. Although some of my feelings were justified I realize that unrelated issues (depression) make me more amped up to unload. Happy people don’t act that even if they voraciously don’t agree with something.

Dbags are more sneaky with their crap. They got a way of acting snide and condescending. They can lure you in with a “false surrender” and then tear into you like a sociopath.

Ohh, I HATE this!!😤😤I've been goin around for the last like, year and a half acting full of myself, total player with chicks. I've said in the past that it's easy for me, girls looks won't faze me cuz I can be neutral and totally play it off. I got humiliated today and found out it was a chick I know who set me up, using 2 CUTE chicks she knows to do it. 1 of em is 21, the other 19. I was in line at this place today, and this chick comes up and taps me on the shoulder to ask me something, so I face her and😮😮😮...😲😲😲😲-my jaw just fell open, wtf😫😫! I looked right into her face, CUUUTE! Latina.. Chicana chick. I was like uhhhh😕😕😕! She's all😏😏😏and when I noticed my mouth was hung I was like fukk it... and turned around to just walk off! But when I turned around, her friend had gotten on that side of me, so now I turned facing right into her and was all😲😲😲😲jaw hung again, ANOTHER Chicana chick CUTE FACE! I gasped like UHH?😮and after like 3 seconds I recovered myself and just bailed out fast. I found out tonight I was set up by 1 of the girls I'd bragged to a few mos ago and I was PISSED ASF! Tbh I'm mad that my mouth fell that hard, I got destroyed by those 2 chicks, ugh. I see the girl who set me up a lot and I dunno what I should do, cuz I already tried to cover it up by telling someone we both know that I let that happen today on purpose.🙄. Should I do any of these?
