I've been debating on whether i should call this girl i used to work with or not.

I caught her looking at me several times and she would look away when i noticed her.

She chased me with a mop and a broom on separate occasions. She also pinned me against the wall with a shopping cart

We hung out a few times and when i wasn't able to hang out she would seem to get bummed out.

Sometimes when i would clock out from work or go on my Lunch break she would ask me if i am going home.

She would poke me in the arm or back sometimes when she walked by me.

A coworker told me recently that the girl would follow me into the lobby or when i walked to the Bathroom.

She could always tell when i was angry or stressed and she was a great listener.

Then her sister got married and she moved away. My friend got bummed and occasionally she would get cold and stand offish with me and she would yell at me from time to time.

I tried talking to her and i decided to keep my distance.

Then she got a new job and left and eventually she sent me a text telling me she quit and got a new job.

We texted off and on and eventually we quit talking to each other.

Recently my friends have been asking me about her and My Mom said i should talk to and another coworker said the same thing.

What do you think? Should i talk to her or not?

I'll start with a short version of this question for those who don't want all the details, and I'll fill in the details at the bottom in (___) for those who actually do want to read all that. What would you guys do in this situation?

Short version:
So I've gotten to know this girl over the course of a month and when I recently asked her out, she accepted enthusiastically and gave me her phone number... BUT, she proceeded to give me this warning and I quote:

"as long as you're cool with the fact that I'm working things out with my ex-boyfriend--it's complicated".

Is she pretty much telling me she isn't interested in me and I'll never have a chance with her? If so, why would she give me her phone number then? Should I continue pursuing her or would this just be a waste of both our time?
Ladies, have you done this to any guys?

(Here's the long version/ details to put things in context:
I had gotten to know this girl fairly well over the course of a month; I didn't just ask her out all of a sudden outta the blue. I made sure I got all the positive signs that she liked me / was interested in me first; the smiles from across the room, the flirty hugs, the fact that she would go out of her way to come over and say "hi" often and try to start a conversation, etc.
I was finding myself increasingly attracted to her the more we talked and got to know each other as share a lot of similar opinions, interests and hobbies.
I was starting to noticing all her great qualities I felt would make her an amazing girlfriend. And I honestly felt that she wanted me to ask her out.
Anyways, before asking her out I wanted to make sure she was was available and she had said that she recently broken up with a boyfriend. So I thought okay, she doesn't seem too emotional about it, so I'll ask her out for a casual lunch to start things off and to might delight, she accepted and seemed excited about it... until she dropped the EX-BOMB. My immediated thought was just WTF.

So over my winter break a girl I know went to denver with my former friend group. Apparently I was the one voted off a while earlier so I wasn't invited. Sent them a fuck you guys snapchat. The girl from the group I liked before waited a week after she came back from the trip to wish me merry Christmas. I didn't respond. Decided to send her a happy new years text. She responded with the same. We talked in a layback as friends manner for the week and a half until school. I asked her if she wanted to hang out... she agreed... then was to busy and bailed on me... we rescheduled lunch and we had lunch it was casual... didn't text her until two days after... didn't respond... hasn't done anything but like my instagram posts... saw her in the hallway of a common friends floor... all she did was ask why I was there (not in a bitchy tone... sort of indifferent)... complemented on my socks... she was getting homework help from a friend and I was buzzing around the floor be jovial as usual... when it was time to leave I said bye to all, gave her a quick hug since she seemed busy... texted her the following afternoon asking if she wanted to meet up... ignored again... no idea what to think... if curious it's the same girl from my previous posts
