So I've been dating my boyfriend for over 2 years
I have met his parents few times
I was the first girl he introduced to his parents

And then his grandparents came here from overseas and staying at his aunt's place
They told him to invite me over for dinner
I was the first girl he introduced to them as well

So yesterday, we came over for dinner and he introduced me to his grandparents and aunty and uncle and their kids

Then it was dinner time
And they all ate with their hands (theyre typical fijian-indian family)
And i was shy so I asked for a spoon lol

They were asking questions about me
And teaching me some hindi words
And joking around about gathering with my family
Etc

And then next day he told me his uncle called and said:
"Oh your girlfriend was eating with a spoon, I feel sorry for her, you should find a nice Indian girl"
And I got offended by this
And my boyfriend said his uncle was just joking around

Why would his uncle say that to him?
Do they not like me?

I'm sure a lot of you heard of the dating app called Bumble. There's also a BFF (friends) option, where girls can meet girls and become friends.

The BFF option is the one I used. I started talking to this girl "Ashley." We learned that we shared a lot of the same interests and got along really well. Two months later, we decided to meet at a local restaurant for the first time. (This is also the last time I've seen her).

Right before we were supposed to meet, Ashley and her boyfriend broke up. It was immediately after we met, things started getting really messy with Ashley and her boyfriend, to the point the court is involved.

I feel like Ashley loves drama and she's purposely adding fuel to the fire when it doesn't have to be. It feels like she's asking for more trouble.

At the same time, I can't really judge or assume what's really going on because I only know her side of the story. Anyways... the drama is ongoing and it's annoying and I don't want to be involved.

I don't know if I came into her life at the wrong time, or what. But here's the question... which one is best?

I've found (in school at least) that even if someone of the popular crowd maybe isn't the best looking, their friends will tell them they look cute or hot if they wear nicer clothes, even though their physical appearance hasn't changed.

I guess what I'm asking is: once you get to know a person and befriend them, do they become more attractive due to their personality even if they were average or not so good looking before? And I'm not talking about just opposite sex, like a guy and girl, but also guy and guy, or girl and girl (platonically, not romantically)?

For example, I know some people might not acknowledge one of my female friends as 'super hot' or anything (no shade, I'm just trying to say that everyone has a preference) but to me, when she dresses up, she looks really cute and I'm often surprised as to how she doesn't have a boyfriend (just based off of looks alone)

He threatened to dump me if i did but im going anyways i fell in love with the school as well thats where i want to be he should support me like i do the same for him and another thing we have a issue on is he's jealous of my rs with everybody no matter if its family or friends he also hangs up in my face if a family member comes in the room and ask me a question ill answer them and hell just hang up i always rush to call him back or text him its getting old im taking to much from this man when i dont have to i feel like he doesn't respect me he always does this he finds anything to get angry abould and blame me like tonight my nephew cane in my room while i was otp with my boyfriend asking me was i excited to start my new job i told him yes and he told me good luck i thanked him and he walked out of the room note my boyfriend hung up in my face after i told my nephew yes im excited to start he always does this its getting old im tired if being disrepected
