This is a pretty straightforward question;

DO YOU BELIEVE WOMEN EXAGGERATE REAL, OR PERCEIVED VIOLENCE COMMITED AGAINST THEM?

In my personal experience, many women (meaning, many of the women I know) tend to blow up cases of violence or perceived violence perpetrated against them by men. Why? I don't know.

For example. An angry male driver gets out of his car after driving behind an incompetent female driver. He walks up to the woman's car, yells at her, tells her off for being incompetent. Later on the
woman describes it as a burny, violent man wanting to drag her out of her car and beat her.

Another example. Argument in the family, the wife and the husband are arguing. The woman hits the man. The man raises his hand for a slap, but realises halfway through he doesn't want to hurt his wife, so he grabs her wrists instead, and tries to stop her from hitting him. The woman demands him to let her go, the man does so, and woman runs off pouting and emotional.
Later she tells the argument as her husband almost hitting her (notice the language - "hit" not "slap" - hit usually implies punch, but it's conveniently ambiguous), and that he grabbed and puched her (she conveniently leaves out the part where she hit him).

I could tell similar cases of half-truths or exaggerations. Do you believe women on a large scale tend to exaggerate real or perceived violence commited against them for sympathy, or appearing in a better light, or gaining victimhood status, or a number of other causes - or are these just isolated cases?
