Everytime me and my girlfriend hold hands in public people look at is like weirdos. Here's why i think so:

Girlfriend:
Listens to county (usa)

Dresses all cowgirlish (cowboy boots on some days, cowboy hat on special occasions, normal causual girl clothing most of the time) but not full on cowgirl.

Speaks with a cowgirl accent (not really, I don't even know why i put this here)

Me:
Listen to rap

I Don't wear gangsta clothing but my style is different from hers (vans, skinny jeans, hat, famous brand shirts such as Element, Young And Reckless, Ecko Unlimited, DC shoes, you know what Im talking about)

Is that the reason people look at us weird? Because we look completely different?
It doesn't actually matter because we love each other but just curious.

I'm not gay, and I don't think its a gay thing, but Ik a lot of girls just assume that I'm gay because I love expressing myself through clothing and vintage and going antiquing and exploring thrift stores and making my own designs. :/ any girls who can see themselves with guys into making their own unique brand on style without being embarassed by the general public thinking I'm queer for it?
