Im a good looking guy with social anxiety so im off socially, girls get excited when i approach them and are really inviting. They actually try to work with me when im struggling to try to say what i want to say while guys would just look at me weird and not say anything. And i usually get sexual signals and advances from them after a little bit of being around each other throughout the semester. And they get excited when i ask them to hangout.

The only thing that changes it is when my social anxiety makes me appear by accident either creepy, a douche (or too douchey for her), a loser, or painfuly insecure (if thats not the same thing as a loser). It doesn't happen a lot even though im far from being "cool". And its usually the attractive ones that are the nicest and cut me the most slack. If any girls are cliquey towards me or think low of me because im slow or socially off its not the hot girls, its the ugly ones that are. Im not sure why but 90 percent of the time thats whos doing it when it happens.

I think people who complain about approaching girls and girls being the ones making the decision, which is almost always rejection, just aren't attractive. I've heard girls say they get annoyed when guys keep hitting on them in clubs but they wouldn't care if they were cute.

The only thing i agree with is that its a little annoying that when both of you are showing signs of interest the girl almost never makes the first move. But it doesn't stop me from doing it its just annoying.

And for the good looking guys who always get rejected, i feel like youd have to be socially awkward in the way that made you appear either creepy, too much of a douche, or a loser to make a girl who was interested in you lose interest and maybe even play around with you.

Ok so we're both 19. I met her a little over a year ago. I was good friends with her ex, and his new girlfriend. So naturally, I didn't even give her the time of day. The rest of our group of friends went to go hangout with her instead of us, so it was just me, my friend, and his new girlfriend every day. Until about May last year, and my friends new girlfriend was getting mad at me for hanging out with my friends ex and cut me off basically, and so I split ways with them, and was stuck with his ex, and the rest of my friends that I hadn't seen in months. But then it was just me and this girl hanging out most of the time. We would hangout with our other friends, but not always. We'd usually just drive around or chill at her house during the day and hit up our friends at night. But after doing that for months, it got me to start falling for her. It was slow at first, but now, she's all I want. I can't even look at other girls the same and it sucks. I've asked her if she liked me, and things like that since I met her. She agrees that she thinks I'm attractive, I can make her laugh, she likes my personality, but she says we're too close and doesn't want to ruin it. Which to me, seems like an excuse to me being ugly or annoying. But I've asked her this, and told her to be blunt about it and tell me exactly how she feels. But she got kind of upset in a way, and said "I'm sorry... I'm going to have to play the friend card". Which confuses me so much. I feel like I've been too nice and friend zoned myself and that sucks, because I really like this girl, I've never wanted someone this long, ever, and it scares me. I've known her for 16 months. The longest I've had a crush is 2 months. What do I do?
