Last week when we were alone together, I gave him a guitar plectrum that I got made for him with his name on it and he kept saying, "Oh Wow". I asked him, "Do you like it?" and he looked at me and he said, "I love it". I then asked him, "Will you use it?" and he said, "Oh God yeah definitely". He then leaned his forehead towards my face and he stared into my eyes. He kept moving the iris of his eye back and forth while looking into my eyes about three times each way while smiling at me and raising his eyebrows at me. I then smiled back at him and I looked at his mouth. I wanted to kiss him but I was nervous and I turned and I walked away from him to get something out of my handbag to show him. A few days later, I messaged him and I asked him, "Would you like to go out with me?" and he messaged me back and he said to me, "No I do not want to go out with you. I never gave you any hint that I did or would. Thank you". I then messaged him on Twitter and I told him that I shouldn't have liked him and that I want the guitar plectrum back that I gave him and I would let him know where and when I would see him so he can give me it back and then he blocked me.

Why is he giving me mixed signals? Does he like me? Why did he thank me?
