I find being a virgin problematic when it comes to guys. Sometimes I'm straightforward and use it as a tactic to ditch guys I know are only interested in sex. Obviously it's possible that perhaps things could go further with that guy but tbh I'm not wrong as I find that the conversation does typically fade or even end abruptly at this revelation. When I like a guy or am even a little interested I don't know when to mention it so I usually bring it up early because I know they're at a stage of attraction and wanting to see how far it can go so it saves time still. When/if they get to know me they seem to like me but it still remains an issue and doesn't last past that day, probably because the fact resonates. They respond well like "that's good" not that I care but then it then i come across as a tease because despite being a virgin I'm very intimate and playful. I don't know, should I stop telling guys I'm a virgin and just see where it goes, I don't want to be deceptive and it's annoying when I'm interested in a guy but I know it's a setback for him.

So I'm really interested in this guy. The thing is, we have been flirty with each other for some time but there was never really a good opportunity to actually get things done. I'm getting kinda impatient though, and I wanted to make a move but I'm terribly scared of rejection. I mean he's always really sweet to me, liked a few of my posts on Instagram, told some other people nice things about me, gave me a back rub on a party (that was... random but funny) but I have bad anxiety so I keep doubting his interest in me, thinking he's gonna reject me & I can't bring myself to be more straightforward.

Long story short, would you be weirded out if the girl made a move first? Would you be okay with that or not?
