I have a guy friend who loves a girl although his feelings are not reciprocated.
He promised to move on but now he says,"If I try to move on, I become anxious and I feel low. So I won't try to move on, maybe my feelings will eventually fade away."

He says he'll control himself whenever he wants to talk with her and he would not talk about her much. In short he'll practice self control.And they don't talk much.. maybe twice or thrice a month.

If he continues like this.. will his feelings for her slowly fade away?

So long story short I dated my ex for a year but were really good friends for about 2 years before this. towards the end we were longish distance because of college (about an hour and a half) and he ended up cheating on me (kissing another girl at a party) and calling it off. I was really sad but it’s been about 9 months and he apologized for his actions and told me it was the biggest mistake he has made. The problem is I still think I’m in love with him, and based on what he said I have reasons to believe that he might feel the same. Do I admit to him that I still have pretty strong feelings for him?
