This man and I have been talking. He has one child, a daughter, 3 years old and has a platonic relationship with the mother of his child. We met online about a 1 year ago. We recently got into something when I confronted him about him lying about his name. He told me his name was Joe Peterson instead of his actual name and lied about his friends names when we first met. During the course of this year he has been dropping hints of who he really is. For instance, he gave me his instagram that had so many ties to who he truly was now I know. After I confronted him he told me he was waiting for the right moment. He wanted to tell me in person. I'm just so tired of this. He says he wants to be in a relationship with me but he won't because he lives in Maryland while I live in Pennsylvania. He is always busy and working. Before he used to call me to fall asleep with me over the phone but now he doesn't. He barely even messages me. I'm tired of begging him to want to talk or text me. He gets distant every time he tries to get me to meet him. But since our schedules clash its hard to meet him. Im not sure what I should do. It seems like the more I express this to him he is understanding sweet excetera at first but then will be distant again. It like a cycle and so frustrating. We are NOT dating so I don't expect him to only talk to me. I have told him he is not obligated to text me or call me. I want him to want to do those things. Sometimes I think I should give it more time and wait until we can be consistent in terms of being able to drive back and forth to see eachother from where he lives and where I live. He is truly the sweetest. I think he is being genuine. He has told me everything- how he just wanted to get some when he was on the website and when he got tired of me he would just cut me off. now he has "fallen for me "He and I used to only use kik Now he has given me his snapchat, fb, instagram, number. He told me he trusts me now and wants to have a relationship.

Here's the back story:
He heard me one day in the hallway tell my friend “Git it shawty, git it” when she & her boyfriend were kissing. He'd greet me by saying that. He’s a Religion teacher
When I had to give him my transcripts for class recommendations he told me I smelled nice
He wanted me to join chior, the club he is in charge of. He made me audition & was willing to make special arrangements for me & only me. He wanted to buy me a $2,000 instrument.
I helped him set up his classroom. After, he came searching for me and asked for more help, prolonging it. He even wanted me to stay at school on a teacher work day to help & said he would take me to lunch, in his car, and pay for me. After I helped him for two weeks, he told my mom that he was going to gift me. My mom said, “No, give her service hours.” and he said “I will, but that doesn’t count.” my mom asked him why not. He said “Because I said so.” Two weeks after he called me up to him & told me to look into my bag. I opened my bag he put a $50 gift card in it & he smiled at me. He told me to walk away before I said anything.
I finished his sentence & he said, “You did that thing! You finish my sentences! You’re so good at that! Mental connection, huh?”
I told him on Monday that I like his taste in bowties. On Tuesday he ends up wearing one instead of a tie.
He sent me to his car once to get something for him. When I returned he said "you are the woman!"
He sang "Treasure" as he stood next to me, looking at my work.
He helped me with hw that wasn't even for his class via text. We text & he's called me on the phone too.
He has hugged me like 9 times.
People have repeatedly told me that he likes me.

He left my school two years ago. I graduted a few months ago.
I saw him again a week ago after a year and a half of not seeing him. He kissed me on the cheek, and not like the typical air gretting kiss people get. What does all of this mean?
