I met him about 7 years ago...he is a widower and 2 adult children. I have two adult children also. 18 months ago I and one of my children moved in with him and there has been verbal and emotional abuse towards my kid and me also. We were talking about marriage at one time and he wanted me to sign a prenump which would leave me nothing in the end. His investments through him and his deceased wife's would be willed to both his children. His promise to his deceased wife was that he would not spend any of their hard earned money on another woman and he told me that he also promised all of his assets before, now and in the future would be to his kids. I at the present is on an acreage with him - and there is lots of work to do on it. I was told that I should be happy to just live there..also we live one hour away from a main center where I work. He wanted me to down size my hours to work with him on the acreage without any compensation. I would still be responsible for all of my bills, food, etc... and with little money if I stayed on the acreage to work. After considerable consideration I am not signing the prenump because I think that it is totally unfair - but I am still here and he will not marry me unless I sign. Also because he was upset at me he voiced that he wants me to pay rent... the other night he told me he wanted me and my kid out of the house and not to sleep in his bedroom. I slept in the spare room for 3 nights and for those 3 days he would not talk to me and then out of the blue I come home from work and he is nice to me and my kid. And that night I slept in the spare room because I feel "safer" there - sounds silly but I do... and then he creeps in the middle of the night thinking he would get some nooky...and no apology .. nothing...is he unstable and am I for being confussed?
