So I've been talking to this guy from tinder a lot lately. And we are making plans to meet cause we haven't met yet. I am insisting on going for a drink and getting drunk on the first day cause it's fun. But he says that he wants to be sober on the first date and not get too drunk and tipsy. (he loves drinking, and he's mostly a beer person) Also, he'd called me one day and I was busy so I cut the call. And when I called him back after an hour he was in the middle of smoking a joint, and he said he wanted to call me and talk to me before smoking up, so that he remembers what we spoke about.

my parents are both heavy alcoholics. my dad drinks an excessive amount everyday. my mom drinks a whole lot as well and smokes about a pack of cigarettes a day too. me (20) and my younger sister (13) never really got the care we should've from my parents growing up because they were always off smoking and/or drinking whenever we'd see them. I've been rejected many times by guys once they find out my parents do what they do and have been for more than 20 years because they say it's weird, abnormal, not right, and so on. so, would you date somebody who grew up basically taking care of their younger sister while their parents were off neglecting them, smoking, and drinking?

no i don't live with my family anymore. i'm living in a different city because i'm starting my 3rd year of university in September.

i did pretty well in school because i had to kinda teach myself when my parents would refuse to help me. also, i'm pretty mentally stable and so is my sister. we just don't like how our parents treat us.
