Due to her diminished appetite, she only eats one-third of the pork in her plate at the new table. Determine the total amount of meat Sarah consumes for dinner in pounds.

Hi! I really like this guy in my grade, and I think he knows... but I'm not 100% sure if he still thinks I do. He liked some other girl, but now I don't know if he still does. So basically, he looks at me a lot. It's not a bad thing though, I actually really enjoy it. Also, in one of our classrooms, the tables face each other and he always seems to sit across from me or one seat across from me.

With the whole looking thing, I'm also not the only one who has noticed. One of my friends has too. Two of my friends have also noticed that he seems to sit across from me. He also seems to find it very amusing when people tease me or make jokes about me haha. When he looks at me, I may be overthinking, but I feel like he looks at me in a... special way? Also, my friend pointed out that he says my name in a nice way. A way which she described as 'goals'.

Now, him and I don't talk much anymore, but we do hang around the same place sometimes... and we do have chances to talk but we don't take them that often.

Although I'm only in 8th grade, many of my peers have already started dating. I have never had a boyfriend before and could never imagine dating anyone at such a young age. Yes, I know that adolescence IS an exhilarating epoch filled with rapid physical growth, unpredictable hormonal changes, and burgeoning sexual desires. However, this journey into adulthood is also why teenagers develop social and emotional insecurities and become too dependent on others' reassurance of their own self-worth and identity. It's quite appalling to me that my peers are under the false impression that their now-frivolous relationship, created through self-doubt, anxiety, and loneliness, will eventually blossom into a long-lasting, prosperous marriage and family. That's absurd. After the inevitable break-up, previous sentiments of love wither into bitter hostility and cruel disregard for their former bf/gf. It's a repetitive phase I know all too well. For example, my classmate shared photos of her boyfriend with captions about "I love him so much. He's the best human being ever!!!" on Instagram. When they broke up, she deleted her entire account, and now, they literally won't sit at the same lunch table... which has about 100 seats to choose from! Due to her obsession with finding the "right one," she moved onto the next partner less than 2 weeks after the break-up. This includes all of my peers, not just her. :(

BEFORE: He sat by me in class but he would avoid talking to me but talked to the people around me, yet, if he told a joke, he'd look at me to see if I was laughing. However, he would sit across the classroom with a few of his friends occasionally, and while sitting there, I would catch him staring at me, then he'd look away as fast as he could. I once caught him whisper to his friend and they both stared at me. This was until our class went to the computer lab, and as we were about to find our seats, I looked up and he was staring directly at me. I stared back for 4-5ish seconds but I was the first one to break eye contact. We didn't sit together though.

MIDDLE: When I walked into the cafeteria with a few of my friends, I saw him and his friend staring at me while whispering. Which means they saw me sitting really close to one of my guy friends. The next day in class when we were playing games, he would do silly stuff then he'd look back at me to see if I was watching him.

NOW: He still does things like tell jokes and look at me to see if I'm laughing, and the staring thing. But now he's been trying to get closer to me. For example, whenever we're allowed to move seats for the day, he always sits with his friends at my table. He was also sitting behind me at a pep rally and swapped seats with his friend to sit by me.
