Say you're both in your early twenties. She has an overprotective dad who doesn't allow her to date most guys. She meets a guy she is crazy about. You know him and he's a nice guy. Your friend is responsible and you approve of her choice, but her father doesn't because he judges him, thus he doesn't allow her to ever go and see him. The guy lives 30 minutes away. Well, he invites her over, she wants to go because she wants to build something with him. She asks you to be her alibi for one night, just in case if her dad asks her friend (you) where she is then you'd just say she is with you. But, most likely he wouldn't contact you, she would just tell her dad she is with you and he'd believe her. Your friend would drive to his place in the evening and stay the night (due to working hours they meet at this time, they know each other and you know him and he is a safe nice guy). Would you be her alibi? Or would you say no because if something happened, like a car accident or whatever, you would always blame yourself and it would be your fault?
by the way, said friend would go regardless if you're her alibi but you would just make it easier. Also, said friend drives to this city where he lives regularly and she knows the roads and place well.

So we have been going out for several months now (i think 7 months) and I feel like maybe he's overprotective.. he does the following:
- he lets me go out with my friends at night (e. g. clubbing, house parties) but he always offers to pick me up from the place
- when he sees a muscular guy talking to me on facebook status or comment section, he ask me who he is and how i know him and checks his fb page
- he calls me every night but sometimes would drive to my place instead of calling
- before i go out to a night out with my friends, he would want to call me first before i head out
Does it seem like he's overprotective or am I wrong?

It can go wither of 2 ways, he can literally set me up with him or be like no way, and get super protective my brother is overprotective and might be like I'm not letting u date him and give me reasons not to date him. My brother and I are really close, i share everything with him from every guy I've ever liked but now the only difference is he's actually friends w this guy and can help me and i rlllllly want to tell him but I'm so afraid I'm going to regret it and he's actually going to prevent us from dating.
