So i dont know what to get my boyfriend. Anything he wants he always just buys himself it. He loves airsoft and doing outdoor actives it i bring him to a shooting range and outdoor active centre for the day would that be a good persent r not? since i would be doing the stuff aswel i wonder if it b still a present or a date

So few days ago, I decided to buy this sexy baby doll lingerie for me and boyfriends anniversary day.
On that night, I came over to his place.
I quickly changed into it.
He came into the room and looked at me up and down and said "wow.. damn. I thought we were just gonna watch movies"
And I said "oh.. you want to watch a movie?"
And he laughed and said "I can try..."
So obviously we didn't watch the movie and we ended up making love 😂
But anyway, after we did it, he goes "Mmm i like this outfit. You look good. Best anniversary present ever. So cute and adorable"
What the f? Cute and adorable? I expected him to say "wow damn you look hot/sexy babe"
He always calls me beautiful, cute, pretty... but never hot or sexy. Even in that lingerie outfit!!!
Does he not find me attractive in that lingerie? or in general? Ughhh im so annoyed 😔

Assume:
- You have known him and have a 1 year relationship with him.
- She's known him 3 years, but lives out of state.
- She's 8 years older, significantly less attractive, and a single divorced mom of 2 kids.
- They had sex once but never dated before you met him. You only found out about it 6 months into the relationship because he blundered, but assume with 99% certainty you know they are not currently having sex nor do they have any plans to.
- He gives her money. (To help her with her divorce, to buy Christmas presents for her kids, to pay for her uninsured kids health expenses, and because she can't hold down a job to pay her own living expenses.)
- They have a very similar history with bad family relationships and life struggles so they "click"--in a "friendly" way.
- She allegedly "has no one else" because she's alienated from her family.
- They have both saved each other's lives (domestic abuse and drugs).
- He's attempted to fly her in from out of state to spend the weekend at his apartment without asking you.
- She's asked him for more money behind your back and told him not to tell you. He told you about once you guessed what she was after and why he was stressed/torn up.
- On your anniversary (over a holiday), he had made plans to head back to his home state (which you were ok with), but you specifically told him it would upset you if he spent your special day with her. He said okay, then did it anyway because his other friends bailed on him last minute and it was most convenient.

My boyfriend and I are fighting about this constantly. I feel like he's so very clearly in the wrong and no self respecting woman would put up with this, but maybe I'm the one in the wrong. I love him dearly and don't want to leave and I know his intentions are well, but I don't feel this is right. All my friends of course are biased in my favor, I just wanted to hear what strangers would think.

Present-day, my boyfriend gets along with my mother but they had issues in the past. Things she did to him 10 years ago (she meddled too much in my relationship):

- Argue with him right on my 20th b-day and making him buy things that day as a proof that he loves me
- Told him ''oh my daughter can find someone better than you''
- Badmouthing him endlessly to her closed friend (who is already dead) and a couple of my family members along with gossiping about him on the phone loud enough for me to hear
- Bragging to others about the day she made him cried, how she put him in his place (she never did... he was crying out of anger because of how he was being treated... I would cry too) and for the longest thinking that was funny and how it's weak for a man to cry
- Always assuming he must be lying and jumping to conclusions too fast
- Keep insisting that he's gotta be only after sex for me
- Once issued a fake apology on the phone as a way of trying to make peace but he could tell she wasn't really sorry at all

It took him till 2012 or 2013 or so to actually forgive her. He once explained he wanted to let go of the anger and also because she's my mother. I was also long forgiven for not doing anything back then, for not mediating the situation, for not being strong enough to defend my relationship.
