When i was little i had always felt as if i wasn't pretty enough, skinny enough, or my nose is too big, my eyes are too small,... and always tried to be like the other kids. You know, i tried to wear crappy dresses, cheesy makeup and act completely out of my way, i even planned on getting plastic surgery... until i entered high school and i realized that i just need to be myself. I started to express myself more and didn't feel the pressure to fit in or to belong to a specific group of stereotype. And the unexpected thing is that people actually like me for myself, although there are some that don't like me much (but that's ok because i know that i can't please everybody) I actually found out what i like and what i don't like, my passion, what i'd want to do in the future, and i have learned that parents aren't always right.
I went from "feeling like total shit for being different" to "actually glad that I'm different"

I had a work crush.. he was so into me , like we glacé and look at each other all the time we gaze into each other's eyes etc but we never spoke to each other ( we did not take it further) - well I am in a crappy marriag so I could not pursue it ( I guess he found out or got a new girlfriend) so he stopped looking at me even if I pass his cube he does not even look at me and I am terribly hurt.. how can I get over that horrible feeling?

I've been talking to this guy for 8 months finally in his city on work. So he asked couldwe chill out at his. Wanted to watch a movie and chill that's not the problem. im in this city with no car and he asked was I going to get a taxi. Am I wrong for feeling a bit crappy. He could of come collected me just to be nice since I'm on my own here.
