So a couple weeks ago I had some strange symptoms and went to the doctor. They came back with a an unconclusive test and said they needed to take a larger sample to make sure it wasn't anything bad. So I went in for a second test. I let my boyfriend know of all of this. I got the results and they said that they needed to remove a tissue build up that had proven to be precancerous. Of course hearing this news freaked me out. I waited until I calmed down to tell me boyfriend. I texted him because he was at work that my results ended up showing I needed to have a small surgery done because they found precancerous cells, but that everything should end up being fine because they caught it early. He replied with a that's good news and went about his day. He was out of town and I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he should have called me when he could, but that he was probably busy. Then he started sending me pictures of him walking around the city just enjoying the day which upset me. Finally around 9:45pm I receive a call. I get upset saying I'm scared and it feels like he could care less. He said he didn't realize the extent of the situation and will def call next time anything like that happens to me... Awesome. Then gets upset with me when I won't let it go saying we need to focus on me getting better and not the negative. This all happened at the worst time because he only came home for a day in the meantime and had to go back out of town for a trip with his friend and work again. Last night he says he will call me right after his call at 3:00pm today. So today is the day of the procedure and it is scheduled at 2:00pm. At 1:57pm I for the first time hear from him and he texts me saying everything is going to be ok and not to worry. I was done at 3:00pm and he knew the length of it, but I also knew he had that meeting. At 5:00pm I send him a picture of me and shortly after he calls me. Since then I have received one text saying he hates that I am going through this and that was around 6:45pm. It is now 10pm my time. I'm sorry, but I feel like I mean nothing to him. If the person I cared about this especially when I was out of town I would be constantly checking on them or trying to keep their spirits up. So am I overreacting or is he being ridiculous? What would you do?

Maybe I'm just paranoid... but he's being really nice. Like using smiley/wink emoticons in emails, asking me about my hobbies, saying he always prefers to meet me face to face and I can talk to him anytime about anything, and vent all my problems to him. This prof also heard a story about how I blew another student on Rez and swallowed... and also had been hearing how I gave my friends the answers to tests... Anyway..

I've concluded it to 3 things:

A) He's a nice guy who wants to help me, and I'm just being paranoid.

B) He is attracted to me/some bad intentions.

C) He knows I've been helping my friends with answers, and he's trying to win my trust to catch me in the act!!
