Okay so Im having to think about college even though it’s a little while until I go away. I am guaranteed a spot at a good university that is close to where I live. The problem I have is that I might have to move away into a dorm and I’m not so sure if it’s the right decision. Living on campus would be very expensive but it would let me be independent and make me learn how to live on my own. If I stay at home with my parents I would save a lot of money and stress but it would be seem as lame and my parents are so protective I might be restrained from going out and finally living the adult life. What’s the right choice? What do I value more? Should I live in a dorm for my independence or should I live at home because it would be practical? And opinions?

I’m a 19 years old college student and I live with my parents. There is this handsome dude in my university, and my mom had a crush on him! Seriously! It’s like she is in love with him and she is forcing me to date him! He is very attractive and all my female friends think the same and he came from a wealthy family, so I feel that my mother is pressuring me! I attract him and that’s how my first relationship béguin and I didn’t felt anything. This boy doesn’t know that even some cute messages I sent him are dictated by my mother! She was always very protective with me, and now she is pressuring me to be closer to this guy, and when I says that I’m not in love with him, she yells at me, telling me that I would be the most stupid girl ever to reject a guy like that! He is handsome and wealthy, but I don’t feel anything for him, and I had to make the first steps that my mother ordained me to do so I can seduce him. I’ve been dating him for 2 weeks and my mom is asking me everyday if he messaged me while I don’t care about him! Please I don’t know if it’s normal but I doubt. I mean.. she’s my mother but I never dated anyone before, because I was never attracted to someone. Is my situation normal?

This may just be me, but my parents are very protective and still see me as an eight year old. I told them I'm going to get my first tattoo that weekend with my friend from work, but they said no. I only got the tattoo by letting my dad come with me.

Another scenario is when you go to see a friend or a date. Do you TELL them you're going, or do you ASK to go? I would most definitely have to ask, and then they would need to meet the person first.
