In my childhood, I distinctly remember how I desperately wanted to just live in one home and STAY. We moved around well over 30 times (that's just about when I stopped counting) and we've been homeless a few times too.

The idea of a steady home was always appealing. So when I moved out of my parents home (they've moved roughly 13 times in the 5 years since I left), I was pretty much dead sent on just renting for a year or two then settling down and purchasing a home to stay and live in until I died.

However this has proven to be difficult. After the first year I moved to another apartment with my boyfriend, and at the time I thought it was just because of my roommate (she was fine, but I wasn't fond of her friends. They were the partying type and I'm more the "i gotta work in the morning" type)

However it seems that matter where I've gone since then, I start to get restless. I find random things wrong just to be mad about, and I almost feel trapped and caged. Then I move and it's like a weight is lifted for a minute, but after a year or so I'm STILL growing discontent with whatever house or apartment we have.
It's now made me scared to try to buy a home simply because I'll probably be bored and discontent within so long, but be stuck with it
Foes anyone else have this problem?

I would say, from what I have seen, in college (and even high school), people have relationships and date to gain experience. They date to see what they like in people. Some relationships turn into marriage this early. Now, as for settling down and finding a long-term partner I would say that, generally speaking, people usually are graduated and have a stable job before they look for a life-long partner. Maybe at around age 25-30 is when people start looking for a life-long partner. What do you think? At what age do people start looking for a life-long partner?
