Ok, here is the basis for my question.

I belong to a really nice, full service health club in the large metropolitan area in which I live.

You can do everything from taking Yoga classes to playing tennis, racquetball, pickleball, basketball, to getting a massage, besides all the traditional workout classes, exercise machines, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, etc.

In the men's and women's locker rooms, they each have their own jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms... not co-ed. And as such, nudity is allowed in those areas, as long as you at least sit on a towel of course. Not all clubs that have private facilities in the separate locker room areas like these allow nudity, some require bathing suits even though it is same sex areas, but ours is one of the exceptions that allows nudity.

From what I have heard from the guys is that about 50% of the guys use these private facilities in the nude, just using a towel to sit on, and about 40% in a bathing suit, and the remaining 10% with a towel kept wrapped around their waist.

In the women's locker room, it is a different story. About 60% have a shower/spa wrap and almost all the rest have a bathing suit, or at least a towel wrapped around themselves. Girls who use those private facilities nude are very rare and thus not very well perceived by many of the other women/girls using them.

Even though I am a nudist, I stay within the acceptable social norms and have a spa wrap that I use. I won't say that I have never go nude, especially when there are not as many members there, or I am with others that are doing it as well, but it is very rare.

So, what is your take? ... would you break the unspoken rules of female, or male, prudence... or would you stretch the boundaries to exceed basic common decorum?

... and why are the statistics so much different for males than it is for females?

The guy and I have been friends since the summer. We met at work and whenever we were working the same day we had an unspoken rule to meet each other and talk to each other. Not in a flirty way but just as friends getting to know each other. He quit before the semester started and I started to like him weeks after he left. I wanted to know if he like me as well but I was afraid to ask him so I turned to our good mutual friends since they know him better then I do. I found out he’s a player and he just want to have sex with girls and not be in a relationship. Also, I showed my friend the text messages he would send me and he would take hours to reply sometimes even the next day. After that, I stop having feelings for him or it wasn’t as much as before. He stopped texting me for less than a month but in November he started texting me again. He starts to reply either a minute or more. So it wouldn’t take hours like before. One time he text me hey and I asked him why he was up so early in the morning. He said he was feeling sick and couldn’t sleep and ask what I was doing. One day, he asked when could we meet up Monday but I didn’t take him seriously. Another day, he text me hey good morning and ask if we could meet Wednesday instead because of finals. I told him I couldn’t because of work and for him to let me know if he wants to meet up another day. I wasn’t taking him seriously on meeting up but he mention ice skating and if I would want to skate. I said no but I’ll try it. He said we could do something else like watch a movie and I said it’s fine with me and he said he could take me and ask where I live. I’m confuse on his intentions since before he wasn’t interested but now it seems like he is. My friend who read the previous text messages says he likes me because 1) he said good morning meaning he’s thinking about me and 2) his replies are rapid and it doesn’t take him hours like before to text back. What do you guys think? Share your honest opinion.
