Search Results: always end up in the friend-zone

It sure appear that way as every time I like a girl and confront my feelings, I end up being her friend with the "lets just be friends" speech or even worse with the "i look at you more like a little brother" speech.I'm so sick and tired of it.

I keep being told by my female friends/acquantances that I'm good looking, funny, smart, a fun/good tease, nice, driven, sucessfull, confident, worldly, fun to be with, a good listener, interesting with a broad variety of interests, I'm good at cheering them up when they are down and so on.

I'm really starting to wonder what's wrong with me that makes me immune to dating as if I would believe my friends on what they are saying, I would be a catch wouldn't i?

Its been 5 times in the past 2 years that I've been given the "LJBF" speech or the "Little brother" speech and besides those 5 I can't say I've actually liked any girls as I do value personality and don't just ask girls out based on their looks so it actually takes a while for me to like a girl.

I get it that you can't fall for everyone and that it isn't always ment to happen and you have to keep putting yourself out there in order to start dating someone but because its the same reason over and over again WHILE being complimented consistently, I'm confused and am assuming there's something wrong with me my friends aren't willing to tell me to avoid hurting my feelings.

Some additional details about me:

I'm 23

I own my own house(loan payed off earlier this year)

I have my own firm and make a good income.

I'm a social person that isn't afraid of opening his mouth, people usually like my company

I'm adventurous and enjoy a variety of things

I love to write and play my guitar

i also play video games in my spare time and watch TV every now and then

What exactly is getting me stuck in the friendzone all the time?

Am I really un date able?

Be honest please, I'm really tired of people telling me what I like to hear instaid of the cold hard truth.
