Search Results: birthday card for a date

Okay, so my parents never married and haven't been together since I was born, grew up with my mom, Dad supports me financially but rarely see him. Just an extremely quick summary of the background story.

Today my father needed my birth date to put more funds on my card. Guess what he had to do? CALL ME TO ASK WHAT MY FREAKING BIRTHDAY IS.

I don't expect much from a guy who hasn't seen me in a couple years, but hey, that's still pretty screwed up, isn't it? xD

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the greatest, how messed up is this?

So, this is the story:
Me and this guy dated for maybe a year, but we were friends before.
It was a difficult relationship since the begining, with ups and downs, but we really wanted it to work. It started to get worst and worst until I couldn't handle it any longer and broke up with him. There was no cheating or beating or anything like that from any of the parts.
But It was a really hard break up for both.
We tried to be friends again, but it never worked well because he wanted me to be his gf again..
Eventually I fell in love and got another boyfriend, and when I told him he got really bad and we don't talk since then. We send happy birthday and Christmas cards to each other, but nothing else..
I don't know if he is hurt still or if he has moved on and wants me out of his life.
Or if he hates me for having moved on
Or for not having tried harder to save our relationship..
We might have been a shitty couple but he is or was one of the best friends I ever had. I really miss that and I think it's a pity to lose such an amazing friendship because of this.
