So I started dating my now ex boyfriend last December. I was invited over for Christmas & he also came to both of my families Christmas' as well. Things were great or so I thought. We took couples photos with his parents & his brothers & their ladies. He introduced me to nearly all of his friends within the month as well. Only about a month ago I met one if his best friends too. I once caught him sending an old interest of his inappropriate messages but we quickly got over that. And then a month after that he broke up with me, stating we both had issues to work out (example financially & such) I don't understand why he went to the lengths of announcing to his whole crew he loves the most that I'm his lady only to get rid of me a few months later. He at first didn't want an open relationship or to share me but the suddenly he was ok with it. Until I went to a movie with one of his friends AFTER we broke up. He was furious & it almost ended their friendship. Why? And then he decided after the breakup that he wanted us to be friends with benefits. And he still KISSED & HUGGED me every day. And called me babe & baby too. He had previously told me he saw a future for us but if I ever mentioned a future, he got freaked out. Please explain this someone if you can. Because I am trying my hardest to move on but I don't think I'll be able to without some kind of clarity.

Just taking a pole. My friends and I were discussing how texting and online dating has changed the way we date. Our parents and old wisdom says for the girl to wait for the guy to call and the guy does all the work until they’re in an official relationship. The girl plays hard to get and not interested so as not to scare the guy away and to make her appear she has a lot of options. Meanwhile I noticed the younger generation 15-28 year olds seem to think and sometimes expect the girl to make moves or at least text the guy first just to say hi

Out of curiosity after how many dates do you EXPECT not want but expect to be hearing from the girl too. Provide examples of when it worked out or if you were turned off etc. Thanks :)

Man A: He's 39 years old. He's 5'8.5" with black hair and brown eyes. He's a Middle Eastern, Orthodox Jew from Iraq. He immigrated to America as a teenager. He's willing to have a relationship with a gentile and keep it a secret. He's a family man and both of his parents are dead. He regularly takes care of his younger siblings and his single aunt but he's a virgin with no kids. He has a hereditary disease that can be deadly if he doesn't take care of it. He's an introvert. He hates feminists and liberals because he think that they are trying to destroy gender roles and tradition. He tolerates people that are different from him to some degree, but he does draw lines for them that they can't pass. He believes that some criminals deserve to be stoned to death.

Man B: He's the same age as Man A, has the same opinions as Man A, and is friends with Man A. He's over 6 feet, and has blue eyes and reddish brown hair. He's an Arab Muslim and he immigrated to America when he was a teenager. He's okay with dating and marrying a non muslim, and doesn't require her to convert to Islam. He's a family man. He pays great to respect to his father, and his father lives in his house as well. His an old, quiet and friendly man. He has 5 kids from his previous wife (who is muslim too) and he has full custody of all five kids. He is very protective of his 5 kids and he puts them as his first priority. He doesn't want you to raise them, discipline them or teach them things that goes against his parenting. The court did not give his previous wife any visitation rights or any legal rights concerning the children. He doesn't desire anymore children. He's okay with having more children if only his new wife wants to have a child and agrees to allow the child to be raised up as a muslim. He and his previous wife are arch enemies. The previous wife does write letters to some of the kids and the kids do write letters back, but she doesn't want to see any of them ever again.
