I was just wondering how many pepole are on this sight because of a disability?

Personally I have diagnosed asperges and have spent a lot of time out of work and am currently though i'm mobile and not shut of from the world i'm involved with weekly community groups tech meetups , took part in a go kart racing event as the driver for a community group i'm involved with and build it with (and I might actually be on there board now?) where I took an interview from the local news station in my somewhat awkward yet well spoken fashion after a crash.
Also contacted local businesses mostly via email and message to pursue potential business ideas i've had even if they haven't so far been successful.
But I do still spend a lot of time on my own and working on my own projects (websites , games , 3d computer models , in the near future posible apps and building my own APIs) or potential business ideas and i read articles a lot then I usually get drawn to online forums such as this one I think in part through a desire to better understand and read pepole as well as wanting to remain social at that point in time and talk about everything and nothing when I feel like it.

Well, for the past year and a half, I have been using meetup. com to expand my social circle and as a means to also meet quality women. I am part of a lot of groups on meetup, and I have meet some interesting people so far. However, I have noticed a trend at these events:

-A lot of the meetup groups are dominated by men. Don't get me wrong, females still attend, but not as much as the men. And if females to attend, they are not very attractive (in my opinion)... and if attractive women do come to the meetup, they are often with 2-3 other friends and they relax together and talk to the other women.

-I have noticed that a lot of women signup for meetup events that are only for women. Sometimes... some of the meetup groups I am part of have women only events... and when I look at the turnout for those, a lot more women tend to go to those (especially the attractive ones) than the mixed gender meetups.

Adding onto this... back in my college days, when I used to go to the bars with my friends and attempt to "pickup" women, they would always tell me that they are not looking to get to know guys and are only out to hangout with their girlfriends and have a girls' night out.

So... that begs the question... ladies... when you go out, are you going out to meet men or hang out with your girlfriends and have a girls' night out?
