He started seein this girl a week or two after he "found out" i supposedly cheated, and moved her AND he two kids in his house after only a couple months of dating and is NOT at all the kind of guy to usually rush into things so it was very out of character for hiim
*He has remained in contact with me the whole time, somehow finding excuses to see or talk to me about once a wk
*calls me to talk about his back problems which he's had ever since an injury he had like 8yrs ago.

* I've told him a cpuple times over the last yr since we split and he's been seeing someone else that we shouldn't be in contact anymore because its hard on me since i still have feelings for him, but he always finds a way to weasle his way back in, usually with the excuse he needs my help.

I've been hearing about the rubber band effect where a guy pulls away so far. Then springs back to his girlfriend with more love. And we are suppose to welcome them with open arms. This supposedly happens when he is upset and has to pull away. However, How realistic is this? It seems to me that after a certain period of time I don't want him back now. I feel more angry, less trusting and really don't want him back. I'm ready to move on and find someone new. It seems to me that avoiding and not talking is what we did in high school. He just can't come back when he feels like it.
