Texas

Texas is the second largest state by land mass in the United States. It would take roughly 14 hours to cross from one end to the other. It is located on what is known as the Gulf Coast of the United States for being right on the Gulf of Mexico. Nicknamed the "Lone Star State," to signify its former status as an independent republic and for its one star on the state flag. It is known for it's agriculture, petrochemicals, energy, computers and electronics, Republican leaning politics, aerospace, and biomedical sciences. It is ranked second in the number of Fortune 500 companies housed within, in the US.
