my friend is a social influencer where i live, and posts a lot of pictures of herself. however she recently found out that her photos were being reposted on local blogs that posted a lot of sexual content, and a lot of sexual comments were being made about her. she is 16 and the photos she posts aren't sexual. when she approached the blog about it they took it down immediately, but there were others who said that because she had posted photos of herself online she should not complain if they were being reposted, and that she should instead be flattered that people liked the way she looked. i personally think it's awful and shouldn't happen, especially if it involves minors and sexual comments or identity theft, but also just in general that people and what they put online should be respected. do you think uploading photos of yourself online makes it okay for others to repost the photo, even if the context makes you uncomfortable?

Do you use Facebook? What's your overall opinion on it? Can you live with or without it?
I'm a nay Facebook person, I used it for many years until I realized it was a soul eater and I'm much better off without it!

From time to time on G@G, I've had another user make assumptions that I have nothing better to do with my life than be on G@G.

It seems to be a generational thing, usually coming from a user that is over 35 or so.

They seem disconnected from the ease of checking alerts/messages on a smart phone, and can't comprehend how some of us on "on here so much".


I tend to check G@G, Instagram, and SnapChat during any lull in my day.
