Instagram removed likes for everyone but me maybe. I updated it but I can still see other people's likes?

I basically never give my number. My boss has it my drs office has it the vet has it the admissions office has it.. For orders and auditions I use email. Overall if I could I would rely on email, but sometimes information has to be exchanged quickly, so I can’t. But I really almost never use it casually. I’m so used to this that the idea of doing so makes me very uncomfortable to the point I just don’t.

It isn’t really that I think any individual will do something. It’s just once you start texting and phoning your number is on their phone and peoples phones end up in places they don’t expect..

I wouid really like to be shoe to tall casually on the phone. My hands are so often busy or I’m moving around, it would be so much rarer to “ talk” bit I’ve heard so many horror stories of misplaced private info from phones.

im wondering what can actually happen if someone managed to hack my phone— forget the fact they most likely wouldn’t or wouldn’t care to bc I’m nobody.. but what IF... what are the risks. And has it happened to anyone here?

I’ve had Instagram before and I’ve had a lot of likes based on how many followers I had. I no longer use it and not planning to either.

Anyways I’ve seen couple of Instagram followers with around 120 followers and around 60 likes per pic. They’re not fake likes or anything. The pictures are not revealing, not too pretty, just like basic.

So how do this people get that many likes?

Without thinking, I sent my profile pic to my little cousin, to see if she approved it as “Ghost like”. She’s into ghosts and I know she feels important when I seek her council. This didn’t seem like something potentially damaging or controversial that I would need to confer with parents over, before sending. So I sent 🤷‍♀️

Now, she is curious person. I’m concerned that if whatever reason she or her friends or who knows who, do a google search, it will lead to my account. I obviously do NOT want anyone offline to have access to who I am on here- let alone a 9 year old- bc I NEVER go anonymous no matter tye subject. I will be mortified if she accidentally happen onto into a response dealing with intimate or delicate subject matter. In addition her parents would probably disown me from their new old distant Cousin. I mean I don’t talk about stuff openly in here with the idea family will see it.😐

So, is this possible? Do I need to take the pic down?

Does reverse search guide you TO the site the pic is on... Or does it only tell you that it exists online. Somewhere..
