Questions: Travel

Pittsburgh international airport has a thing called mypitpass that you get at the airline ticket counter. It doesn’t cost anything and you have to show your ID and they check to make sure your not on the no fly list and then you have to go through TSA like your boarding a plane. You can then sit in the terminal and plane watch and eat at the restaurants and shop. You still have to pay to park. My friends and I love to plane watch. We did it at gravelly park in Washington DC which is right at the end of the runway. We want to do it at Pittsburgh airport however the closest thing to a runway is a creepy cemetery. We live about an hour away and I haven’t flown on a plane since 2012 and my friend just flew last year. We are all currently enrolled at an aviation school. We wanted to bring checklists of all the airlines and check them off as we see them land (we did it in DC and at two airshows) and it’s like a challenge of who can get the most airlines. But we are worried that they will think somethings fishy? I don't know if it’s weird to just go sit in the terminal to plane watch or if it’s only to meet people at their gate. They didn’t specify. We are all a group of girls between the ages of 17-20 if that helps? We are aviation enthusiasts and we just don’t want to get in trouble or look like somethings sketchy to go plane watch in the terminal.
