I don’t wear makeup and I don’t shave my underarms because I only have hair on my underarms and down there, the rest of my body is silky smooth. I know there are girls and women like me in real life and every one of them has a choice in what they want to do with their bodies. I was wearing a basic sleeveless dress and I was sitting alone at a bar and there was a young man around my age chatting me up. I was shocked because I’m sure he has noticed I don’t look good in any way especially my underarms being unshaven, my face having pimples and some acne scars on my face. I was panicking inside but pretend to show I’m not afraid of him. I answered his questions and we did have a chat. He then asked me if I’m single to which I replied. ‘I prefer to stay single because I’m a burden due to personal reasons. There are way better looking girls around here why pick me when you can pick them?’ He replied ‘You have the confidence to go out like this is the reason why, not everything is about looks you know.’ He left and I saw how he looked a little disappointed. I find being single is safer, easier and cheaper compared to getting married. Since marriage does comes with lots of stress especially when there are kids involved and honestly I couldn’t handle married life. It doesn’t matter if it’s marriage life with or without kids. I just know I couldn’t handle them. I’m a weak vulnerable person so I couldn’t afford to be in a relationship where it might be a toxic/abusive one.

Personally I preferred to date and marry a man of the same race as me because I heard they’re more accepting of a woman’s imperfections, especially body hair. I had seen a number of them date hairy girls who are hairier than me since I only have hair on my underarms and pubic area. When it comes to interracial dating between Caucasian men and Asian women, I never seen any of those men date hairy women. I don’t mean to stereotype as it doesn’t apply to certain races since the opposite can happen too. It’s way easier to get along with someone of the same race because we have the same culture. Dating someone from a different country and race means higher chances of cultural clashes and disagreements. If I couldn’t get a man of the same race as me I will no choice but to pick man of a different race

I only have hair on my underarms and down there. I prefer a man who either doesn’t care or prefers natural body hair. I do checked on online forums again. I noticed there are men who are grossed out by it while others didn’t mind one bit. If I were to pick a man who prefers no body hair I will leave him because he will be way less attracted to me. I’m not sure if I can get a boyfriend IRL.

I went to a beauty salon to get rid of hair on my underarms. The beauty specialist name was Jess, she asked me to sign a package for 13 SHR (Special Hair Removal which is more effective than IPL) treatments, 10 of which were paid by me while the remaining three were free. I asked her more questions about it, she did told me about SHR may not 100% get rid of hair permanently when some of her ex clients still have some hairs left but mostly there was a huge reduction of hairs but those who have hair completely removed permanently are those who don’t have very stubborn persistent hair growth whereby after the hair follicles are destroyed, new ones might come back. After I done all the first 13 SHR treatments, she then told me I have to spend another $400 to maintain the results which she did not told me about before I first signed the package. I spent $560 in total yet I need to spend another $400. I asked her politely why she didn’t told me that earlier and her answer was: “I forgotten”. I was very disappointed with her answer, to which I replied I will have to consider first. I left the place never to come back. But one thing I liked about it was the hairs on my underarms were reduced by a lot and the hairs were not so obvious from a distance it’s like I’m totally hair free even though I’m not. I don’t think the maintenance treatment is worth $400 and I think the first 13 treatments were enough and I was right it’s been 6 months, the hairs still stayed the same it doesn’t get thicker. Luckily I didn’t paid the extra $400. If I have to rate my experience it would be a 6/10 the minus 4 is because she didn’t tell me about the maintenance treatment and I had to pay extra $400 for it in the first place.

Before this I had very hairy underarms with super thick hairs now the hairs are not as visible unless it’s taken close up. It’s more worth it compared to shaving, please take note that im not paid to say this. I don’t have to shave anymore and I can be lazy not like years ago where I had to shave every 2 or 3 days. It doesn’t get rid of body hair 100% but it helped to reduce 80% of body hair which was very good. Don’t go to beauty salons to get hair removal buy your own IPL device because it’s much cheaper in the long run. I can say that IPL devices are probably women’s 2nd best friend. Shaving is women’s number 1 enemy. You do have to shave 2 days before using the device tho. In the long run you don’t have to shave anymore.
