I have an unusual amount of chest hair for my age. Will girls be put off by it? Should I shave it off?

I'm 15 and I have a significant amount of chest hair which has grown in the last year, while most boys my age seem to have either none or only a tiny bit. It is noticable because other boys have commented on it in the changing room.

I'm worrying about wether I should get rid of it before we start doing swimming in school in a couple of weeks, because I'll have to show my chest in front of girls and they might find it ugly. Though I'm also worried the other boys who have already seen it will laugh and point it out if I do that. What should I do? ( I also have very hairy legs and underarms but that doesn't stand out so much because some others are the same)

Hey man, don’t worry about it , lots of girls like it. I got super hairy at 16 and I was self conscious about it at first. I realized quickly I didn’t need to worry, it makes u look like a man. Now 15 years later I like it. For swimming I did shave it but stopped doing that after swimming competitively.

It will show the girls your maturing. As long as you dont look like Sasquatch I leave well enough alone.

I don't think you need to worry. I mean tbh you will stand out, but not in a bad way, I don't think anyone will think it's ugly. Some might like it.

Same age, and I'm the same way, my entire chest is covered in hair. You can shave if you want to. I do sometimes, depending on the reason. Like I shaved my chest all summer because I was out tanning. I've had friends kind of comment about me shaving my chest. I just turn it back on them and say they are just jealous that they can't grow any chest hair.

You can keep the chest hair or shave it, you've just got to project confidence when you do something. I'd probably shave for swimming though.
