My boyfriend/exboyfriend have 18 months of history together and we used to live together for 5 months. We’ve been through a lot together and he has helped me out quite a lot and has been there for me. His mom was w even inviting me for the holidays and teaching me about Judaism as well and I was visiting him when he was in jail for 3 months and he was always telling me he wants a future with me and was making future plans... back in the summer we took a small break cuz we had a few misunderstandings but then he kept begging me to come back to see him although he was going out with someone new...
he tells me he doesn’t love this girl and that I have better qualities than her and his parents even prefer me over her... she has even beaten him up and bruised him as well and can be very abusive to him... we still see each other in secret and sleepover at his place.. he says it’s difficult to get rid of her cuz she’s a crazy person...

why would he still contunue to be seeing me if he's with this new girl that he doesn’t love?
is he still in love with me? Or does he want me over her?

Long story short: my boyfriend and I were together for just over a year, we’ve both been there for each other to doctors appointments, he helped me lose weight and encouraged me to get my drivers license and was always cooking for me... always very affectionate as well... his parents really love me as well - especially his mom... she was even inviting me over for the holidays and teaching me about Judaism and baking with me and driving places with me... my boyfriend and I were also living together at his parents house for 5 whole months as well and everyday I was visiting him at the hospital when he ha surgery and he was ther for me when I had a minor surgery as well... he was in jail for 3 months cuz he drive with an invalid drivers license and I waited for him and everyday he was calling me and his mom and telling. Me that he loves me and wants a future with me and was making future plans with me... also was encouraging me to spend time with his family... now when he retired back, we had some miss understandings and a fight and we took a break.. he met this aggressive bitchy goth chic who always fights him and abuses him... he was begging me to come back for 2 whole weeks and even gave me a mermaid necklace cuz he knows I love the little mermaid...
he always hugs me and kisses me in his sleep and whispers that he loves me so much and sometimes even holds my hand in his sleep... but that other abusive woman is still around and he tells me he doesn’t love her at all and that I have better qualities than her... his mom even tells him that she prefers me over the other woman and his dad can’t stand her either... his parents tell him I’m more suitable for him as well... this other woman bruised him and beat him up as well...

he someotimes gets into bad/sad moods when I leave his place... does he still love me and seem to regret the break we took?

My exboyfriend/boyfriend says he still loves me and he cuddles me up at nights in his bed whenever I sleepover at his place, but then when it comes time for me to leave the next day or the next 2 days he gets moody and irritable and in a bad angry mood...

why is that?
ps he also won’t let me take any of my personal belongings that I have at his place and he switched my pillow that I slept onto on his side... why?

his mom was even inviting me over for the holidays and teaching me about Judaism... and she personally told me that she loves me even more than her own daughter. As soon as he returned he began to act differently due to peer pressure and he was always on his phone and this bitchy woman came along and started pursuing him when she broke it off with his mutual friend. He was always in his phone and we had a few missusnerstandings and a fight cuz of this woman... then we broke up...
For 2 whole weeks I didn’t see him and he was begging me to come back to see him, cuz this new woman doesn’t treat him well and he still loves me...

Now anytime I’ve tried to take back my belongings from his place he always gets offended and takes them away from my hands and says I’m gonna be coming back so there’s no point, but I don’t use any of my spare things there... he had also said not to take away things that are dear to his heart...
He also says that we definitely still have something between us...

does he want me back? Or is he feeling regret for letting me go?

Yeah, that happened to me today.
I met this guy around the time I was having problems with my now ex boyfriend.
I asked a question about something he was doing.
Then he replied with his opinion and then we talked for a while and eventually it moved on to private messaging.
I reallyyy LIKED this guy and he helped me realize me and my exboyfriend's relationship wasn't healthy.
We talked for like hours that night and I just really LIKED him but it was just a crush.
The thing is though I just got out of a bad relationship.
I didn't want to get into a relationship yet.
I told him this once I realized we might be catching feelings for each other.
At the time I feel like I was in a really bad place.
Me and my ex were together for 2 yearsit was a serious relationship.
I wasn't sure what I was feeling for him but I was sure that I liked him.
Here's the twist this all happened over the course of 4 days! 4 days.
So I think yesterday he told me he loved me.
I wasn't sure what to think and I wanted to keep him around but I didn't feel like I was in love with him.
But I told him I loved him anyway mainly because I didn't want to hurt him.
So he started saying it more and the more I said it the guiltier I felt.
So the next day I told him...
It was a mess.
He was not listening.
He was convinced that I was scared?
And told me to follow my heart.
I am following my heart my heart is saying no.
I also told him that I have a hard time saying no to people.
I really feel like he took advantage of me.
I am in a bad place right now.
I don't want another relationship right now, and he says he loves me?
When we've only been talking for like 4 days!
I'm just confused and tired.
I admit I was so wrong for doing that l apologized multiple times.
I just still wish he didn't say that to me I liked him but never loved.
I didn't want to hurt his feelings but I think it would have been better if I had just told him.

Im feeling regretful that I made out with my exboyfriend without talking about our relationship. I try to let him mention about us getting back together etc. so I dont seem needy but I think if I keep on meeting him without even talking about us, I’ll give him the impression that we can be friends with benefits. I dont want that cos I love him. I wish we could get back together. What would you do? Should I just talk to him and tell him how I feel directly or keep on meeting him and letting him start the talk? Im feeling used tbh
