I asked a similar but indirect question before. Imagine that you find out your girlfriend/wife was seeing another man, but that this guy didn't know she was with you. Do you imagine that you could blame just her for the affair and even hang out with him? Please understand I am not asking from personal experience (no woman would cheat on her significant other with me lol), I am just curious.

To make a long story short, I got into an argument with a former female friend employee, and we are no longer friends, and she has to return this book she borrowed from me(she said she would too). Anyway after asking her for it after enough time has passed, she got annoyed that I kept "pestering her" (trust me I wasnt, she just over reacts and makes a big deal outa thing) and now her male friend, also an employee got angry with me.

Later that day that male employee and my friend were working together. That male employee complained to my friend what happened, my friend of course stayed neutral. Anyway one major thing my friend said was the male employee said "If he keeps annoying her about the book, I'm gonna punch him in the face". And by the way my friend said he would indeed testify with me to the managers that the male employee said it.

Anyway my questions are: Did he technically threaten me? He said "if", not "would". Is that proof/valid enough that my friend and I both testify to the managers that the male employee said it? is it serious what he did? Also he technically said it to a 3rd party, not to me. so is what he did a threat?

Just an FYI, I'm 21, the employee and the girl and my friend are 19
