So the rule for a lot of these business relationships is that the number one thing you are selling is yourself.

Of course that first means your compntency and results but to build a relationship that lasts for 3 years and beyond not clients want to know about your personal life. It makes you relatable and builds trust beyond the business wranglings.

If you are simply working 70 or more hours a week, no kids and no foreign vacations for 3 or more years the client will fail to connect with you.

Ideally you have a spouse and a kid. But if not, you’re going on exciting vacations. Or fostering dogs, playing in a band on Saturdays... running marathons.

The truth is- YES!!! And more please, we should all have some kind of balance in our lives.

The truth may be more of... I have a partner I adore, a dog who gets treated better than some children, currently fostering dogs but can’t turn my house to meet the halfway home safety like requirements needed to foster one kid.

😭 I swear I'm not a bad person but anyway as you know I've been networking with another nurse online as far as school goes. I dont know her like that but she's nice. Anyways she wants to apply to the same college together at the same time. however I want to apply like now so I can make sure I'm good to go but I dont think she needs to know that. Am I being shady? lol

OK so I got accepted to a college close to my house and I kinda don't want to go there because I know that There are people who I don't want to see again and I kinda want to go to a college that is 4 hours away because I am very tired of my mom yelling at me and being mean to me and I just want to get away from her she just hurts me inside but on the other hand I love my dad so much and I barely get to see him and he would be very sad if I go to a college so far and live there meanwhile my mom wouldn't care as much and I wish I could have religious freedom but I can't with my parents I can't explore or visit places. And I can't imagine my life without living with my parents and being so far from them. So far I have only been accepted to one college which is the one that is close but I believe that I could get accepted to other colleges too if I finish my applications

My friend lives with her mum, brother and her own child, she is complaining her 15 year old brother is using lot of gas, electric and food. He has his own part time job and she is demanding he starts paying towards bills. I don't agree with it as I had a job at 13 and my mum made me pay for all my things such as clothes, shoes, toiletries. I believe a child is the parents responsibility until they are an adult. Is it fair to make a kid pay just because they have the initiative to get a job early?
