Questions: Education & Career

Just completed my job interview and am now scheduled for a drug test tomorrow (most likely urine) to check my employment eligibility. I'm no avid smoker but I have smoked just one light hit of marijuana over a month ago and a couple of normal hits several months ago.

What do you guys think (for those who are experts at this)?

I'm a community college student and I have a passion for technology, computers and video gaming, which all obviously requires a lot of math and some science. However, I hate school work in general (Math and Science were the two subjects I've struggled the most in High School). I always feel that people either are naturally intelligent by birth or aren't, which is the case for anyone who tries out college to see for themselves if it's for them.

I've been in community college for almost 3 years (should have transferred to a University already two semesters ago in the Spring, since I had an immediate major change after my very first semester as a freshman). I still feel like these 3 years of community college have gotten me no where, especially since I'm struggling with one of my classes right now (Biology 181) barely passing it with a low C at the moment and just one more failed test can bring me down to a low D. On top of that, I have to juggle my work schedule, extracurriculars and school schedule all around. adding more weight on my shoulders. Maybe I'm just learning it the hard way that college probably isn't for me.

Self expression is important! Just because a person has an "unnatural hair color" does not mean that they aren't a hard worker nor can they be professional! People dye their hair all the time and some in the workplace even wear lots of makeup, and that is not natural but is allowed. So allow it all!
