Isaw is a street food from the Philippines, made from barbecued pig or chicken intestines.[1] The intestines are cleaned, turned inside out, and cleaned again, repeating the process several times; they are then either boiled, then grilled, or immediately grilled on sticks. They are usually dipped in vinegar or sukang pinakurat (vinegar with onions, peppers, and other spices). They are usually sold by vendors on street corners during the afternoons.

Don't worry too much about the semantics, just how you would speak with friends. I like Japanese food the most - sushi, tempura, miso soup. But I often cook Asian fusion dishes because I love Thai and Chinese too and ingredients are often grouped in the stores I frequent.

If other what's it called? How is it made?

For those who don't know what a "crisp" sandwich, it's a sandwich where you put potato chips between two sliced bread and crush them into smaller pieces (but you first spread a specific sauce onto the slices of bread before putting the chips onto them and crushing them into smaller pieces, not exactly sure which sauce). I used to make these for myself as a teenager all the time but with Doritos instead of potato chips (the more proper chips for the crisp sandwich), lol. I was recently surprised to hear that the "Crisp" Sandwich was an actual legit cuisine common in Ireland. I was never even aware that the Crisp Sandwich had it's actual name until recently.
