If you have not yet experienced the death of someone close to you, it will eventually happen. Perhaps it will be a grandparent, a friendly older neighbor, or maybe a classmate, or even a sibling. The only way for you to avoid dealing with the death of a loved one is for you to die at a very early age.

I have been contemplating death recently as my mother will soon be 88 years old and my step-father will soon be 89 years old. They are both in poor health and I expect they will not be alive much longer.

I was 19 when my maternal grandfather died. Everyone focused on my grandmother and their children but they forgot that for many of the grandchildren, this was their first time experiencing death.

Whatever remained of my innocence at that age abruptly packed its bags and left town. It mattered - some - that it was my grandfather who had died, but it was much more significant that I was forced to confront my own mortality. There was nothing I could have done to prepare myself for how death affected me and there is nothing that I can say that will prepare you, except that you should expect it to have a very significant impact on your life.

Have you had this experience? Do you have any words of wisdom to pass along for those who follow behind us on this path?

If ur 1 of these church girls who's thicc and wears fitted black leggings and always keeps a straight face when a player approaches you... HOW do u get as disciplined as u are? Seriously... I've tried like mad to run game on u... I try to ignore that booty and those upper legs and not look down, but I cant!😣😣it doesn't work on u😭😭😭my whole mouth drops, like😲😲😲and when I look up to play it off... you keep a resting b face, and I CAN NOT get through it! I thought I was good too, UGH! How much would it take for u to teach a player how to have the mental discipline u have? HOW do u keep that rbf like that? Ugggh! Would u do 1 of these, or how much would u accept to teach a player ur mental discipline against church girls like that?

I'm only 22, but I've spent the majority of my time overseas, mostly in the Far East. I got into a Far Eastern religion, and agreed to become a missionary. The main goal was converting people to ours. Having studied it, I actually was convinced that christian girls here had weak morals, no mental discipline, etc... that I was far superior because of our ways. I'd said this on a number of occasions. We were sent to a college city in the South. 4 of us. Almost all of the people I came across were college girls, self identified as Christians. Most were thick in build, wore fitted black tights and kept a straight face. I used every ounce of willpower I could muster to ignore their big booty and thick legs, convinced I could for sure, having superior mental discipline. I can't!!! It was impossible. As soon as my eyes went down, they hit those 2 spots, and my entire mouth dropped open shocked. I HATED that moment most, because it's when my ego got destroyed, knowing I was losing. I tried to recover quickly by looking uup, to talk conversion. But when I did, I ended up looking RIGHT INTO their *straight face.* I literally stammered, unable to break through it. They didn't seem to have ANY trouble keeping the poker face, ugh. I gave up, left the church and missionary group. The last night in the hotel, I was SO frustrated, couldn't believe what had happened to me. I was WRONG about you girls, and now my gloating ego has been destroyed. If you happen to be 1 of these type of girls also, do you think the way I'm feeling is deserved? Could I have done anything else against those girls?

I tend to think that the whole system is unbiblical, the services themselves and the whole "pastor is the man of God" mentality that seems to premeate those places.

I know people often attempt to bring up Hebrews 10:25, however the bible often describes something a whole lot different than your typical "church service".

Not to mention pastors were not even mentioned, most attempt to bring up 1 Timothy 3, but that was regarding overseers who, again were not anything like these pastors.

The Bible speaks of a quiet gathering in a person's home, with an overseer to watch over things, everyone was involved.

A "church service", is basically where everyone sits down and listens to a pastor talk about how innocent he is and how everyone not in his congregation is going to hell, taking Bible verses out of context to use to beat people over the head when they do not agree with his views.

That is to say nothing about all the money that pastors take in from "tithes and offerings", originally something meant to help build the temple, now something to add to a pastor's personal bank account for them to spend on luxury while God does not even cross their minds.

I know some will say that I am generalizing, however dig a bit deeper before you start defending a particular pastor, after all, the Bible does say that satan will masquerade as an angel of light. (God also tells us to be diligent.)

So what do you all think? Do you think church services are biblical?

What's the best thing the Catholic church can do to stop this abuse?

Honestly, I think people who are called, consecrated, remnant and set apart should boast in the Holy Ghost to show others the joy they can endure in living life to the fullest and being able to make it through your trials and tribulations easier.

Of course God will not prevent trials from you because it's needed for spiritual growth. The more of the power that the Holy Ghost is shown towards 'atheists', I think they will sooner or later want to experience that too.

In no way am I implying that people who have the Holy Ghost are better than those who don't or people who don't boast in it better than those who don't but we should not be fearful for what others think of us Holy Ghost boasters.

Anything that happens in a person's life can be considered a business. Since people work often, they make their jobs their business and many people have social lives, so socialness is a business.

However, since death ends life, maybe it's not a true thing and since death technically doesn't occur during life but after life, maybe it's not a business. Since crime occurs in some people's life, crime is a business. Laziness can be a business.

Not minding your own business but minding the business of others can even be called a business. Wow, is there anyway to escape this?

I'm not living my best life atm, actually it's the opposite, but I got used to it and I live my days just fine and sometimes happily too
