A man is sitting on a plane and his son asks how tonnes of metal can float in the air and fly. The man tells his son that hundreds of invisible fairies support the plane from beneath and prevent it falling out of the sky. Nobody has seen these invisible fairies because they live under planes and are well invisible. But since planes fly they must logically exist.

Another passenger butts in and says fairies don't exist and it's all down to aerodynamics. He tries to explain lift and drag by blowing over a sheet of paper like he saw in science class 20 years ago. Other passengers join in but it's clear their knowledge of aerodynamics is pretty limited and they can't answer a lot of questions.
The father proudly tells his son that their inability to answer the questions proves beyond all doubt that fairies exist. Further more if people don't believe in fairies they'll fly away and that's why planes crash. The plane safely reaches it's destination proving that fairies exist and the father had convinced the whole plane of their existence.
