If your beliefs are different from someone else, does that make them wrong?

Personally, I like evidence. I'd really like to believe in a god, someone to blame for my miserable life, someone to pray to for my life to improve and the hope that someone greater than myself has a plan for me.
Unfortunately I can't find it in me to believe, I've read the bible in its entirety and snippets from other holy books but can't bring myself to believe in an external force with no measurable, repeatable effects.

I don't count science as a belief for the first part, but it can be a belief discriminated against.

Mr Sharp said William Hill does take bets on the second coming, which currently stand at 1,000/1. For this confirmation is needed from the Archbishop of Canterbury.

The Rapture would be the greatest event in World History in my opinion. Agree or disagree and why? Slightly agree or slightly disagree or heavily agree or heavily disagree is also what I want to know and go into details.

It matters to me God existing because my pains and troubles will be paid off and death will not be the eternal champion of the universe and people will once and for all know God is indeed master and creator of the Universe.
