I am in college and have a class with a girl my age. She laughs at stuff I say, smiles a lot at me and to stuff I say. She said hi when she saw me ask what's up. We had to do peer reviews and she came to my table sat next to me at my table. She sat between me and another woman Im friends with, talked to her she said something, smiled at me and looked deep into my eyes and didn't stop smiling and it felt awkward, if I didn't break the eye contact she probably would've continued. She was making forced eye contact and scratching her head while resting her head on her hand and leaning over. One day I sat down waiting for class and sat with another woman and she came in for class walked over and started waiting very close to me, hovering over standing in my personal space, she walked right in front of me and started getting close to me and I could smell her but she had her back to me. This was the closest she's been to me. There was a whole room not a lot of other people. When I talked about another girl flirting with me and asking for advice from a woman I talk to in college to not lead her on. She joined the conversation said that the other girl will continue pushing boundaries and persisting if I don't say I'm not interested and ignore hrr. She started this stuff after I asked for advice, . I told her someone said my hair looks like the clown from it and she said that's not nice. I'm afraid she knows I'm too nice not say I'm not interested in a girl and won't ignore. I saw her in the hall today we stopped seeing each other in class. She saw me today and stopped and asked me how my classes were this semester and she had the biggest smile on her face. I ask her stuff and it's like she has a hard time with conversation but has the biggest smile on her face talking to me. I said my advisor would kick me out bc he knows I smoke pot and she says "awww" I do get an awkward forced vibe from her. Basically, this friend of a friend (let’s call her Mary) came to a graduation party we were hosting at my apartment. I hadn’t seen her since the last time she came to visit my roommate a few years ago, which was also the first time we met. Back then I had a crush on her, but right after that we both got into long-term relationships. She shows up to our party and starts acting weird around me the whole time. I’ll go in-depth about the specific moments, but keep in mind my girlfriend is at the party and her boyfriend isn’t, as he’s from where she lives (different country). She started our conversation by asking me about my musical interests and so we chatted about music and stuff like that. I noticed she started fiddling with her hair and maintaining strong, prolonged eye contact while we’re talking. She’s also standing pretty close, closer than I’d expect in a conversation between two taken people. When we broke off, she often stared at me as I was talking to friends, even while she was mingling with other people. When I’d meet her gaze, she’d continue to stare and smile until I broke eye contact. A little later I hear from my girlfriend that Mary has been talking to her about how nice I was to her a few years back showing her around town, which was no doubt influenced by how I had a crush on her. Mary would also do things like jab me to help me out when I wasn’t paying attention during a drinking game and laugh at all of my jokes. When it came time to walk to the club, it was raining, and I got wet along with everybody else. She turned to me and said “you’re so wet” and brushed off the rain from my chest and arms (my girlfriend was in the bathroom when that happened). Later on in the night when I was dancing with my girlfriend and being affectionate with her, Mary kind of stopped acting the way she did earlier that night. The next morning when she said goodbye to my roommates and I (she spent the night), I was the only one she hugged besides her friend.
